I've always had a tendency to talk too much! I like to say something, then restate it with different words, then take another run at it with an even more complicated construction, just like I did with this sentence. I even do this in my head, when I'm talking to myself. Oh! you say, with alarm in your voice, "You talk to yourself?" Like that's weird or something. Well, I think it's weird if you don't talk to yourself. But I digress. My thought has always been, if you can say it in 10 words maybe 110 words would be better.

Bottom line, I just talk too much, so some of my friends said (in the most loving way), "Why don't you shut up and write a book?" So I did, and I loved it. I already have several others in my head, but I want to take this one all the way through to it's completion, before starting another one (OK, I lied, I already have started two others... no three... whatever; but I'm putting them all on hold while I finish this project). Now, you're probably thinking, "if your book is finished and for sale at Amazon.com what more is there to do?"

Well in this case, writing a book was just the first step.

I wrote this book primarily as a training tool for people who want to start their own business but don't have a bunch of money to invest in a franchise, or who don't have any idea what kind of work to do in their new business.

This book was written to help people decide if a career in printing, and more specifically a career as a print broker, is right for them. By the time a person has read Print Your Success, they should be able to tell if they have any interest in being a print broker. That's why I'm selling it for $4.99, about the cost of Starbuck's grande latte, (after all, it ought to be worth at least a cup of coffee to get the inside scoop on a new business opportunity). I kept the price low because I want as many people, as possible, to read this book so they can decide if this opportunity is right for them.

Print Your Success, was written as a filtering tool to separate the people who think working in printing would be worst than almost any other job, from those who see a real opportunity in printing. For the latter group I want to offer ongoing training and support. Over the last 33 years I had to learn dozens of lessons the hard way and that's, well, the hard way! I don't want you to learn it the "hard way".

Furthermore, I have been working toward this coaching role my whole life even though I didn't realize it until recently. I spent 10 years working as a police officer which taught me self reliance and to always do whatever is necessary, even if it's hard, unpleasant, or dangerous. I completed an MS in Business, obtained various Certifications in Marketing and I have worked in the field of printing since 1986. I have taught at the university, written volumes of technical documents in my previous employment, worked as a consultant and business coach, and during the past 33 years I have taught many people how to succeed in print careers.

Now, I'm ready to share ALL the insider secrets and to teach a younger group of people how to claim their share of this 83 billion dollar industry. So the book, Print Your Success, is just the first step. The other books, that are in my head, will have to wait a bit while I get my small committed group of future print brokers off to a solid start. Finally, I want to stress that a person can be a successful print broker even with physical disabilities or mobility challenges. As I wrote this book, I kept thinking about all the US veterans returning to civilian life after serving in various war zones. Young men and women who have suffered terrible losses, unbearable pain, disappointment, and despair over the demise of their comrades, or the loss of their own independence.

Some are injured physically, some are injured emotionally, but all of them, injured or not, deserve our support and gratitude. I hope and pray that Print Your Success finds it's way into the hands of these men and women. I'm confident that this book, and the opportunity it presents, will resonate with some of them and it's these wounded souls (warriors, heroes, one and all) that I want to help win on a new battlefield: by showing them a path to financial independence which will help them build a new and better future and regain their confidence.
